Recently, the brilliant team at David Wilson Homes decided to put our tasty theory to the test, and we’re delighted to say that house hunting in Merseyside just got a whole lot more delicious!
David Wilson Homes, one of the UK’s top construction companies, is renowned for crafting high-quality new-build homes. So when they invited us to cater not one, but two of their buzzing sales events, we were all in! Our first stop? Calder Rise in Preston, where the Hog Roast Childwall team rolled in, bright-eyed and ready to serve up a feast to hungry house hunters.
Our team kicked off the day by preparing our legendary hog roast. Slow-cooked until perfectly golden, the crispy crackling made the most satisfying crunch as our chef carved through to reveal succulent, melt-in-your-mouth pork. And that smell? Absolutely irresistible! Before we even started serving, a crowd had gathered, drawn in by the rich, mouthwatering aroma of roasting pork.
As soon as the first sandwich was served, it was game over – guests couldn’t get enough! We loaded up soft, floury buns with generous helpings of tender pulled pork, homemade sage and onion stuffing, tangy applesauce, and crispy, salty scratchings. To top it all off, we laid out a selection of Sauce Shop sauces, letting guests mix, match, and find their ultimate flavour combo.
And let’s just say, the feedback was nothing short of phenomenal! House hunters couldn’t get enough of the mouthwatering pork, with many asking for seconds. With happy bellies and satisfied smiles, they strolled through the development, picturing life in their dream home – perhaps with a hog roast of their own in the garden!
