On Saturday afternoon, we had the great privilege of helping Ron celebrate his 35th birthday with one of our marvellous hog roasts! All of his friends and family had been invited to join him in commemorating the special occasion, which meant lots of hungry mouths for the Hog Roast Canning team to cater to, so it was imperative that our team brought their A-Game with them on this occasion. But then again, when do they not?

Our recent client, Ron, who had never used our services before, was instantly taken by Hog Roast Canning’s glowing reviews and was eager to have us handle his birthday bash last weekend. However, he was initially a little bit nervous that our detailed menu plans would be well out of budget. But, like many of our first-timers, he was pleasantly surprised to discover that not only was our Alfresco Menu everything he had been searching for, but it came in well under budget too, which left him a little bit of extra room to splurge on the entertainment and decorations.
With the extra cash, Ron had hired a mentalist to perform a show for the guests, which they thoroughly enjoyed watching as they picked away at the feast of slow-cooked shredded pork, crackling, sage and onion stuffing and applesauce, which was served on a roll with side salads, chips and charcuterie boards of Italian deli meats and cheeses. Hog Roast Canning also prepared cheesecake for dessert, and with it being a birthday party, our catering manager, Sam, sliced and dressed Ron’s birthday cake in fresh berries and cream before serving it to the seated guests.
