This Hog Roast Skelmersdale menu gives you three meat mains of your choice, which are all marinated and then slow-roasted on the day for hours on end, as well as four side dishes from a long list of possibilities. You get to choose a tasty trio from pulled quarter of minted lamb, Louisiana sticky pork ribs that fall right off the bone, spicy whole-roasted chickens, barbecued pork butt and Texan 24-hour beef brisket, to be accompanied by four of the following: coleslaw, Greek salad, seasonal green leaf salad, mac and cheese, corn cobettes, seasonal vegetables, potato salad, baby new potatoes and a mixture of sweet potato and traditional fries. The main meats are served with some lovely sauces and we also provide a selection of rolls and wraps, including wholemeal (as well as gluten-free if needed).
Alternatively, how about our newly-added Alfresco Menu, which features three courses of homemade goodness including Italian-style antipasti platters of meats, cheeses and breads, followed by a hog roast and then wrapped up perfectly with a choice of desserts. You and your guests first get to feast on salami, prosciutto Parma ham, Parmagiano, Gorgonzola and buffalo mozzarella, together with ciabatta, herb focaccia, breadsticks, extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Then a centrepiece hog roast is served buffet-style, where you get to enjoy tender meat, crispy crackling, apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing and if there’s any room left, our homemade puddings will finish your meal off beautifully.
