It is one of the privileges of the job that Hog Roast Bootle get to come out to some of the most incredible venues in all of Merseyside, and also get to be a part of some truly special days, like that of the wedding of George and Rachel, who held a wonderful service out with our friends at Warren Farm Weddings and Events.
With the weather fortunately staying dry, the outdoor wedding of Rachel and George ended up being a gorgeous occasion. Our catering manager Sam had an excellent time cooking out on Warren Farm’s stunning landscape, right next to the rustic/tiki set up of George and Rachel’s wedding. With incredible towering tipi tents and incredible wooden décor all around, the Hog Roast Bootle team settled right in and got to doing what we do best: cooking up a delicious wedding meal and evening buffet.
George and Rachel have been great since first coming to the Hog Roast Bootle team to talk shop for their wedding. In some cases we just have customers that grab the first package they see, but George and Rachel got right into the process and were very on-hands with their selection of foods. In the end, we reckon they picked an excellent menu – and the proof was clearly in the pudding as everything ended up being hoovered down by guests!
The hog roast of our name is far and away our most popular menu choice, so were pleasantly surprised when Rachel and George picked out one of our lesser opted for roasts: our delicious Cajun spiced whole roasted chicken, along with an added addition of our favourite butchers sausages – local, fresh, and deliciously grilled right there for guests!
Our catering manager Sam is also a chef of many talents, so when it came to the evening buffet for the late-night guests he fired up our pizza oven and got to making some delicious homemade, thin crust pizzas. Coupled with our mini fish n’ chips, it was almost like running our very own late night chip shop to send everyone off home! An excellent choice all around from Rachel and George, and a lovely wedding all over!
