Corporate fundraising events can be a fantastic way to give back to the community while allowing employees to relax and unwind. This year, Hog Roast Bootle had the privilege of catering for one such event that was truly unforgettable, which showcased the spirit of giving in a luxurious setting.
Fundraising balls have become an annual tradition for one of our oldest client’s. One that not only provides staff with a well-deserved break but also raises money for several great causes. This year’s event, orchestrated by the dedicated event organiser, William, promised to be bigger and better than ever before!
William left no stone unturned in ensuring that this year’s event would be unforgettable for all the right reasons. The entertainment lineup was impressive, featuring a live band that got everyone on their feet and a mesmerising hypnotist who left the audience spellbound. To capture the moments, photo booths were set up to create lasting memories.
One of the highlights of the evening was the raffle, with some incredible prizes that had guests eagerly participating. It was heartening to see the enthusiasm and generosity of those attending, all in the name of supporting important causes.
Adding to the grandeur of the evening, Hog Roast Bootle was, once again, chosen to serve our Formal Hog Roast Dining Experience menu. The decision was a perfect fit for this black-tie affair.
Guests were treated to a selection of five mouth-watering canapés, setting the tone for an evening of culinary delight. The starter featured smoked Scottish salmon, a classic choice that delighted seafood enthusiasts. For the main course, guests had the option of a succulent hog roast, roasted sirloin of beef, or grilled veggie kebabs. Each dish was expertly prepared by Hog Roast Bootle’s catering manager, Sam, and served with side salads and creamy dauphinoise potatoes, creating a symphony of flavours on each plate. Coleslaw added a refreshing touch to the meal.
As the evening reached its sweet conclusion, guests were presented with the choice of profiteroles or sticky toffee pudding, two desserts that left taste buds tingling with delight.
In line with the company’s green ethos, Hog Roast Bootle went the extra mile by serving everything on wooden bamboo plates with matching cutlery, minimising the event’s environmental footprint. Leftover food was thoughtfully donated to a nearby homeless shelter, reducing food waste and spreading goodwill.
The corporate fundraising event was a testament to the power of collective giving and the importance of creating unforgettable experiences. It was an evening of glamour, entertainment, and, most importantly, making a positive impact on the community.
