Hog Roast Bootle Served A Luxury Feast At A Black-Tie Charity Gala

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…the shops are blaring the classics, the decorations and lights are all up, plus, the markets are open again. And it’s safe to say that for all of us here at Hog Roast Bootle, the festive fever has well and truly started to set in; now, we’re just eagerly waiting for the big day to arrive! Until then, though, we’ve got a lot to keep us busy. Especially our catering team, who are almost completely booked up over the next few weeks with seasonal celebrations.

From office parties, winter weddings and school dances to pre-Christmas catch-ups and everything in between, our catering team’s services have been in extremely high demand lately. Since Christmas is ultimately about giving, they’ve also found themselves at quite a few charity events as of late. Most recently, Hog Roast Bootle even got the chance to attend a formal fundraising ball, which had been arranged by a small team of organisers led by Eloise.

In the lead up to the black-tie event, which went ahead on Saturday night, Eloise had gotten in touch with us to discuss catering options, and she was instantly impressed by the range that Hog Roast Bootle had to offer. After taking a little bit of time to think about it and talk things over with the rest of the event planning group, the client got back to us to request our Formal Hog Roast Dining Experience, which is perfect if you’re looking to add a touch of luxury and extravagance to your dining plan.

Hog Roast BootleOn the night of the fundraiser, Hog Roast Bootle’s serving staff offered a choice of canapes to the guests as they arrived at the venue, which was the perfect prelude to the three-course meal that began with a roasted breast of Gressingham duck followed by a choice of slow-roasted pork, free-range turkey or grilled veggie kebabs with a selection of sides. For dessert, the team served our delicious chocolate-smothered profiteroles and homemade cheesecake slices to the guests with tea, fresh coffee and mints to finish.

Eloise was so pleased with the food on the night, and with all the guests in a great mood, they managed to raise a lot of money for several charities!
